Lori Keilt

I consider it an honor and privilege to serve as the secretary of the High Plains Dressage Society. I have served as secretary for other organizations over the years:

  • Boy Scouts
  • PTO meetings
  • Soccer meetings
  • Metro Denver Dental Hygiene Society
  • Colorado Dental Hygienists Society
  • CDHA secretary of the House of Delegates

I bring a lot of experience to the roll of secretary and have enjoyed serving this Chapter in this capacity for the past two years. I consider myself a rookie to many of the goings on…but I truly love learning the process.

I currently own one amazing Horse, London Fog – my 15 year old Dutch Warmblood, who is learning dressage with me! We have a fantastic trainer, Katherine Simard, that has now taken us to 3 rd level. I have owned and ridden horses since I was 14 years old. For those of you that
are long Denver area residents, I worked as a livery stable guide for Plum Creek Stables off of Titan Road when I was in high school. This is how and when I fell in love with horses and all that they do!! My various horses have taken me on many adventures over the years, and to
them I owe so much gratitude. I have ridden trails all over this country, Fox hunted, Evented, and now Dressage. I love the stories all the people I meet share with me, and I hope to continue this passion for most of the rest of my life. I’m looking forward to our next season,
2018, and hope to meet more of our High Plains members!

Happy Trails,
Lori
